Who We Are

Christ the Redeemer Church is a group of men and women, young and old, who acknowledge their need for a personal savior.

We are committed to spiritual growth and maturity, living lives worthy of the calling to which we’ve been called, and supporting each other to that ideal.

We are children, parents, siblings, grandparents, married, and single people who reside for the most part in the counties of Fairfax, Prince William, and Loudoun in Northern Virginia.

We are a new Anglican fellowship, formed in September of 2006 and a part of both the Anglican District of Virginia and the Convocation of Anglicans in North America.

Our worship is grounded in the Scriptures, led by the Holy Spirit, and offers Communion at every service.

What We Believe

We believe in God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Bible is God’s revelation of Himself to
humanity.

We believe in the creeds as they have been handed down to the church through the millennia, including theApostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed.

We believe that Jesus is the only Son of God, and that He died for our
sins and was raised from the dead.
We believe that as we accept His sacrifice on our behalf, we are
justified in the eyes of God.

Finally, we believe that the work of the Holy Spirit is ongoing and that
His gifts are in operation and applicable to our daily lives.
We believe that we are further sanctified as we make ourselves
more and more available to His ministry in and among us.
